Connecting clamp

A splice terminal is a type of connector used for electrically connecting wires. This clamp uses a system of springs and clamps to create a secure and reliable connection without the need for soldering or the use of tools. These clamps are available in different sizes for different types and thicknesses of wires. These types of clamps are often used in industry, installation technology and building automation.

There are a few steps you can follow to properly use a connector:

  1. Make sure the wires you want to connect are clean and dry. Remove any insulation from the ends of the wires.
  2. Place the wire in the opening of the clamp, make sure that the wire fits snugly in the clamp.
  3. Press the handle of the clamp, causing the clamp to clamp the wire. Make sure that the clamp presses firmly on the wire.
  4. Test the connection by pulling the connected wires slightly. The connection must remain firm.
  5. Make sure the connection is securely and securely covered with a connector or box to prevent the connection from being damaged or disconnected.

It is important to remember that the correct clamp must be used for the correct wire gauge. Using a clamp that is too small can lead to problems with the firmness of the connection.
